Privacy Policies

Effective 21 September 2026. This policy explains what Neil.Marketing (Neil Anderson) collects when you visit neil.marketing, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: this site sets two first-party analytics cookies and nothing else, the contact form sets none, and the only personal data it holds is what you choose to send through the form or by email.

Who is responsible

Neil Anderson, trading as Neil.Marketing, is the data controller for this site. Questions about this policy go to neil@neil.marketing.

What is collected, and why
  • Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare records the IP address, browser type, requested page and time of each request to deliver the site securely and to block abuse. These logs are held for a short period and are not used to identify individual visitors.
  • Analytics. Page views, downloads and form submissions are measured at the edge by Cloudflare and forwarded to Google Analytics 4. Two first-party cookies are set for this: one holds a random client identifier for about a year, the other marks the current session. No advertising identifier is used and IP addresses are not stored. The data shows which pages are read and which files are downloaded, not who read them.
  • Contact form. When you send a message through the form on this site, what you enter is collected: your name, email address, your message and any optional answers, together with the page you were on, how you reached the site (referrer and campaign tags) and the time. It is used to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person and may process technical information about your browser to do so. Submissions pass through Cloudflare's network and are stored for Neil.Marketing by Saprel, its customer-record provider, on servers in the United States. They are not sold or shared for advertising.
  • Email you send. Anything you send to neil@neil.marketing is kept in Google Workspace for as long as the conversation, and any resulting engagement, is active.
  • Downloads. Downloading the questionnaire PDF asks for no details and creates no record beyond the anonymous analytics above.
Cookies

The site sets the two analytics cookies described above and no others, and uses no session replay or advertising pixels; that is why there is no cookie banner. Submitting the contact form sets no cookie. The bot check may keep a short-lived technical token in your browser for the duration of that check.

Third parties

The site links to Amazon (to buy the book) and LinkedIn. Those sites apply their own privacy policies once you leave neil.marketing. No visitor data is sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by emailing neil@neil.marketing. Requests are answered within 30 days. Where the UK or EU GDPR or a US state privacy law applies to you, those rights apply in full, and you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is for business audiences and is not directed at anyone under 16. No data is knowingly collected from children.

Changes

This policy is updated when the site's data practices change. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.

Content

Everything on this site, including the Outcome Marketing model and the questionnaire, is the copyright of Neil Anderson and his co-authors unless stated otherwise. You may download and share the questionnaire for your own business use. Reproducing site content commercially, or presenting it as your own, needs written permission.

The site describes a marketing methodology and Neil's experience applying it. It is general information, not advice for your specific situation, and results described in testimonials are those clients' own. Any engagement is governed by its own written agreement, not by this site.
